K9 Vincent – Vermont State Police

Died – 8/11/20
Handler – Corporal Busby

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we inform you of the passing of Vermont State Police Retired K-9 Vincent. K-9 Vincent spent his career with the State Police at the New Haven Barracks with his handler Corporal Busby. After many years of service K-9 Vincent retired to enjoy the rest of his days at home with the Busby family. K-9 Vincent is a beloved member of the New Haven Barracks and in the Addison County community. K-9 Vincent, most commonly referred to as Vinnie or Vince, was one of the most even-tempered K-9s. Vince was everything you could ask for in a K-9 partner as he did numerous school visits and demonstrations over his years of service, however when it was time to work Vince was all business. Words cannot express our ample gratitude for our time with K-9 Vincent, his years of service, and our grief. Our thoughts and prayers are with Corporal Busby and the Busby Family during this time of sorrow. Rest easy K-9 Vincent. We’ll take it from here. K-9 Vincent “Vincent the Invincible” EOW 8-11-2020
