Sedgwick County Sheriff announces death of police service dog Turbo

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office announced the death of Police Service Dog Turbo on Friday.”PSD Turbo joined the Sheriff’s Office in 2018 and was a vital contributor to detention operations,” the sheriff’s office said in a release. “PSD Turbo played a key role in the elimination of contraband from the detention facility.The department says Turbo was diagnosed with a fast-moving and terminal form of cancer and he died peacefully with his handler and several other coworkers by his side. When he wasn’t working, Turbo was at home with his handler, jail Corporal Ethan Cox.
