K9 Storm – Trumbull, Connecticut

Died – 1/8/21
Handler – Officer Gregory Lee

The Connecticut Police Work Dog Association is sad to announce the passing of Retired K9 Storm on 1/8/21 due to cancer. K9 Storm served with the Trumbull Police Department with his handler, Officer Gregory Lee. About 15 K9 units from the region were there for K9 Storm’s last walk. During a recent visit to the veterinary office, K9 Storm was diagnosed with cancer in his spine that traveled throughout his body. Officer Lee made one the most difficult decisions , but humanly, to have his K9 partner relieved of pain and euthanized. K9 Storm was certified in Patrol & Narcotics and became members of the C.P.W.D.A. joining on 3/8/14 through 2017. We thank you K9 Storm for your service to the Trumbull Police Department and the citizens of Trumbull Connecticut. Please keep Officer Gregory Lee , Trumbull Police Department and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. R.I.P. Storm.
