K9 Stoki (retired) passed away on August 13, 2022 at the age of 12 after a long battle with autoimmune disease and degenerative myelopathy. Stoki was partnered with Sgt. Bill Farina (retired) where he protected the citizens of Travelers Rest, South Carolina and the community of North Greenville University during his seven-year career. Stoki had multiple narcotic finds and he was credited with the apprehension of 16 dangerous criminals as well as assisting in the arrest of many others. Stoki was a full patrol canine and he held a certification through the North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA). Farina said that Stoki was a great police dog because he was so balanced, but more than that Stoki was his best friend and that he’ll mis him terribly.
