Geauga County K-9 Rotar dies after 11 years of service
K-9 Rotar helped officers with countless narcotic arrests, searches for suspects and missing persons, and recovering critical evidence, GCSO listed.“His dedication and skill made him an invaluable asset to the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office,” GCSO stated.His four paws enforced the laws until his retirement on March 21, 2024.“Known for his friendly demeanor and exceptional work ethic, Rotar was beloved not only by his training group but also by everyone at the office.
