K9 Haro – Phoenix, Arizona

Died 9/7/21

Handler – Officer Lin

The Phoenix Police Department and Lin family are mourning the loss of one of their own, recently retired K9 Haro. Haro passed away on Tuesday. surrounded by his family after a battle with kidney disease.  Those who knew Haro best describe him as a happy and social dog, who had the heart of a warrior. No task or mission was too big for K9 Haro. He was responsible for getting countless bad guys and narcotics off the streets of Phoenix during his career. He served the citizens of Phoenix from March 2013 to September 2020. Haro made a huge impact on the city of Phoenix, as well as everyone who was lucky enough to know him. Haro made the good guys smile and the bad guys wish they were good guys. Haro was the kind of dog that made a lasting impression on everyone he met. And that is why we know he will live on in the hearts and memories of countless people. Haro retired with his handler, Officer Lin, last year and spent his retirement being spoiled and loved by the Lin family. He was a beloved member of the Lin family. And while he may of just passed, he is already deeply missed. Please join us in keeping the Lin family and Phoenix Police Department in your thoughts and prayers. Rest easy K9 Haro. We will never forget you good boy.
