K9 Bailey – Soledad, California

Handler – Sgt Lionel Munguia

Soledad police report death of K-9 Bailey

I am sad to report that one of our first K-9s, Bailey, has left our world and gone to serve in Heaven in the company of other past warriors. After her passing, our South Monterey County Communications Dispatcher was kind enough to broadcast the quote below. We will miss her dearly, but we know she is happy and in the good hands of our Lord. “K9 Bailey started her career in 2012 with the Soledad Police Department and was immediatley welcomed to the force. K9 Bailey was assigned to K9 Handler Sgt Lionel Munguia for patrol duties. Throughout her career, K9 Bailey was part of special operations throughout the City and South Monterey County which led to various arrests for narcotics and felony crimes. Today, K-9 Bailey ended her watch and will be missed greatly. K-9 Bailey thank you for your service, dedication and loyalty.”
