Lower Providence’s K9 Officer Baco, Faithful Servant, Passes Away

One of the Lower Providence Township Police Department’s devoted public servants has passed away. K9 Officer Baco was 14 years old. He served Lower Providence Township faithfully for eight years. Baco was born in 2003, and served from 2004 until his retirement in 2012. He left the force when his handler, Officer Kenneth Duelley, retired, according to police. Officers said that Baco enjoyed running and spending his free time with Duelley and his family at their home in Tennessee. “We are extremely grateful for Baco’s faithful service to our police department and our thoughts and prayers are with Officer Duelley and his family,” police said in a statement. Rest in Peace, K9 Baco.
