The citizens of Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, the citizens of Williamson County and beyond are mourning the loss of one of their own, K9 Axel. Ten year, old newly retired Axel served with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office for seven selfless years. He is credited with countless apprehensions & over a million dollars in narcotics finds. K9 Axel also appeared on Live PD, as well as Women on Patrol. Axel won several national awards and competitions for his bite work and tracking skills. He was a force to be reckoned with, yet gentle and loving. He could track a bad guy through the thickest woods Texas has to offer in complete darkness, yet play with children at birthday parties and community events. Axel saved numerou lives and will live on in the hearts and memories of everyone’s lives he touched. Thank you for your service Axel.
