Retired Weymouth police dog dies
A popular Weymouth police K9 who worked with the narcotics unit has died. The dog, named Audi, died Monday. She was 14. Audi began working as a police dog in 2006 and retired in 2014.“Audi was a popular dog with police in the area, because she was so good at sniffing out drugs” said Weymouth Police Capt. Richard Fuller. Audi helped with drug investigations, finding drugs on people and hidden away at crime scenes. Audi’s handler, Weymouth police officer Lorri Landrigan retired from the force in 2017.
