Normal K9 Officer passes away

A local police department is mourning the loss of one of its K9 officers. The Normal Police Department revealed on Facebook the passing of K9 Ofc. Gunner. Gunner passed away peacefully at home, Friday morning, after some recent arthritis and health issues. Please keep the NPD family, but, especially Ofc. Bachman and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Gunner was Ofc. Bachman’s partner for several years of his career. The loss of his partner is very difficult. The Normal Police Department had this to say about Gunner: These dogs are selfless and give 100% to our Department and the community they serve. We are sure Gunner is chasing tennis balls like no other! Thank you for your service Gunner!
