K9 Arras passes

We are saddened to relay that K-9 Arras, retired in April of 2015, passed away today at nearly the age of 15. He faithfully served the citizens of Milwaukee County beginning in 2005. He and his partner, Captain Dittberner, performed their duties on the MCSO GRIP, Interdiction, and Targeted Enforcement Unit. K-9 Arras was responsible for the apprehension of numerous criminal subjects, as well as dozens of narcotics-related arrests. He was directly responsible for one of the largest marijuana seizures in MCSO history. He will be remembered as one of the most intelligent, as well as longest-serving, police canines in Milwaukee County. Our condolences go out to Capt. Dittberner and his family for their loss.
