K-9 Ali Dies After Serving Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office 8 Years
K-9 Ali has died after serving the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office 8 years. The sad announcement was made on Friday, Jan. 21st by the Southern Indiana Police Canine Association Inc. On Saturday, the Vanderburgh County Sherrif’s Office, reiterated his death, saying he’d had been suffering from recent health issues. The Canine Association says Ali took one last bite of the bite sleeve as is custom, before he was put to sleep at St. Joe Veterinary. Ali passed surrounded by his handler, family and friends. He will be buried at the FOP PAL Camp K9 Cemetery.
