Winnipeg K9 Cop Dies The Winnipeg Police Service has announced the death of one of its canine officers. Police Service Dog Mya passed away after retiring in 2019. She was trained and worked as a specialty narcotics detector with two different handlers during her tenure. Mya was also an integral part of the WPS litter program.
